Our Doctors

Dr. Brian Arneson decided to pursue veterinary medicine at the ripe old age of 6. Since then, he has dedicated himself to doing the best job possible. He graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Dr. Arneson has focused primarily on surgery, with orthopedics being his area of particular interest. Currently, he resides in Staunton with his four children, Jenna, Alex, Alicia and Anna. Rounding out the household is an ever changing myriad of pets, ranging from horses to hamsters.

Dr. Heather Beach is a 2005 graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been a practicing veterinarian in the Shenandoah Valley since that time. She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, but has particular interest in canine reproduction and feline medicine. Her interests outside of veterinary medicine include camping, hiking and nature photography.

Dr. Martha Hunt-Estrada is a graduate of North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. She spent 5 years as a regulatory veterinarian, after which she chose to pursue a career in private practice. She enjoys the entire spectrum of veterinary medicine and feels that Heartland is the perfect fit for her at this point in her career. She is a strong believer that our pets are loving members of the family and should be treated as such. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, yoga, and a variety of other fitness activities.
